Coaching Courses

We believe that, with some training, anyone with the desire to help kids learn soccer can become a coach.
Our dream is to have all our coaches obtain a National  Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certificate through the Alberta Soccer Association (ASA).

The basic premise of the Coaching certification program is: "Every child deserves a certified and qualified coach."

Coaches for U8 and older teams are strongly encouraged to attend at least the NCCP Child course, U12 & U14 coaches are encouraged to attend the Youth course and U16 and up the Senior course.

Coaching Incentives

All our coaches will receive a Club Shirt annually.

To encourage coaches and assistants to attend training courses, we provide the following incentives that will demonstrate to others your commitment to coaching.

Attend a mini-clinic this year and you will receive a club ball cap.  Complete any  two levels of  NCCP certification and receive a Coaches Club track jacket.

Coaches with all three NCCP courses will receive a coaches wind breaker.

Thank you coaches and assistants for volunteering your time, enthusiasm and expertise.  Without you we wouldn't have a program.

Just as our children become better players with every passing season, we want our coaches to become better every season too.  We strongly encourage all coaches to pursue NCCP certification through ASA.
